Welcome to Your Move-In Day Guide! We understand that moving can be a whirlwind of excitement and stress, which is why we're here to ensure your transition into your new living space is as smooth as possible. This page is your comprehensive resource for everything you need to know leading up to and on move-in day. From essential paperwork to handy tips, we've got you covered.

Move-In Procedures

We're thrilled to welcome you to your new home! To ensure a hassle-free move-in experience, we've outlined a step-by-step guide to streamline the process. Take a look at the sections below to learn more about your move-in times, where to pick up keys, what you need to complete ahead of time to qualify for Fast Pass Move-In, and more.

What To Expect Move-in Day

Your contract begins on August 14th, 2025, and the earliest your apartment will be available for move-in is also August 14th, 2025. Please arrive at 405 South Main Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 no earlier than your corresponding time below. When you arrive, please turn down the street behind The Standard Ann Arbor (accessible via the alley off East Williams, across from the East Williams parking garage) and we will direct you to a spot. Please have the resident come to the key table to collect their keys. While they are getting their keys, there will be professional movers getting your things from your car to take up to your apartment. Once the movers empty your car, please exit the street in the opposite direction towards Packard Street.

If you do not have your Pre Move-In Requirements completed, you will not be able to get your keys or have your things moved so please make sure to complete those before you arrive.

To ensure a smooth move-in process, we’ve organized time blocks based on your unit number. Please review your designated time slot below.

Fast-Pass Pre Move-In Requirements

We offer Fast Pass move-in options for your convenience. In order to qualify for this option, be sure you've completed all the items listed in the drop downs shown here, including any move in check list items shown in the ResidentPortal. Please note, failure to complete these items ahead of time may result in longer wait times during key pickup. Let's make your move-in process swift and seamless!

Move-In Requirements

Monthly Installments

On move-in day, we will verify that the full month’s installment, fees, and any outstanding paperwork are complete before giving out keys. Please note we accept payment online through the Resident Portal, checks, cashiers checks, and E-money orders. Cash and paper money orders will not be accepted. If you choose to pay online before your arrival, please ensure to bring a copy of the online confirmation. Your first month’s installment is due no later than 08/01/2025. It’s crucial to ensure all fees and your first month’s installment are paid on time to secure your unit and prepare for move-in day.

Resident Portal

Insurance

As a condition of the Housing Contract, residents are required to carry liability insurance. To satisfy this requirement you have two options - Do nothing and you will be automatically enrolled in the Damage Waiver Program for a monthly fee or Purchase liability insurance from a licensed agent and provide proof of coverage to our partner Confirm Insurance. Pet Screening

Our property is proud to be pet friendly! Whether or not you are bringing a pet, all residents are required to register with PetScreening even if you do not have a pet. Please click the link below to read more and complete your pet screening application.

Utilities

Utility accounts are already established in Landlords name for your unit. Go paperless and go green! Log in to your Resident Portal to verify your email address is accurate. Providing your email address will allow you to receive a copy of your bill electronically each month. Statements sent to your email will contain a link that will automatically direct you to the Resident Portal where you can pay your bill.
